HUMOR

Humor isn’t usually associated with wedding ceremonies but there’s no reason it shouldn’t be. Your ceremony should reflect who you are and adding humor, if you’re comfortable with it, will personalize it uniquely.

There are various ways to add humor in a wedding ceremony.

·       Reading a humorous “prenuptial agreement.” (Usually this is read by two friends.)
·       Humorous vows
·       Humorous anecdotes

However, there is one caveat: remember that you’re poking gentle fun at yourselves, not others.
Having said that, humor always goes over well. The audience is comprised of people who know and love you. There’s room enough in a ceremony to have a bit of fun!
